Dickson Group transformed from a fragmented legacy brand into a modern, unified group identity ready for expansion.

CHALLENGE
Originally trading as Dickson & Co, the business had expanded over the years through several acquisitions, yet the brand had not evolved to reflect this growth. The identity felt dated, fragmented, and misaligned with the scale of the company. There was a lack of visual consistency, no clear brand strategy, and limited assets to support internal and external communications. It was clear that the brand needed to move from a localised feel to a group-level identity that could support future ambitions.
CHANGE
Through our discovery process, Fluent Format identified the need to reposition the business under a new group structure. The result was the creation of Dickson Group, supported by a brand strategy that would guide future marketing and digital activity. We delivered a refreshed identity that felt confident, modern, and adaptable. This included brand guidelines, signage for 15 stores across Northern Ireland, internal wayfinding, uniform design, campaign creative, and a new lead generation website.
Since the rebrand, Dickson Group has acquired additional businesses, accelerating growth and reinforcing the strength of the new brand direction.
- 200+ staff unified under a single identity
- 15 store locations rebranded across Northern Ireland
- 3 new businesses acquired post-rebrand
